Hands off my giant remote!
Pop Candy recommended an awesome tv-related present today, Jumbo Universal Remote from Journey’s Edge.
Check out how awesome it looks:
If anyone wants to get TV Revival a present, I’ll go on record saying fancy tv remotes are completely acceptable.

“Fringe” gets a green light
The gang over at TV Squad brings good news today: Fox has given “Fringe” a full season order! After last week’s episode (The Ghost Network), I can say I’m officially hooked. The show blends elements of the procedural, horror and science fiction into an entertaining show. I don’t love it, but I definitely make sure to watch each week’s episode on my DVR by Sunday.
Don’t have the luxury of TiVo and must watch something else during “Fringe’s” timeslot? No worries, Hulu’s got you covered. Find the entire third episode below for your convenience.

Baby Borrowers: Funny or Sad?
What is the deal with this “Baby Borrowers” show? Teens are put through the ringer and given real babies to take care of, all too prove that child rearing is really difficult.

I don’t need a tv show to tell me that! Plus, hasn’t like every sitcom done the kid-parent switcheroo? It totally reminds of that episode on “Saved by the Bell: The New Class” where Mr. Belding makes them take care of an realistic baby doll.
Bring teenagers and babies together and hilarity ensues, right? I disagree, but all this buzz about the “Baby Borrowers” proves that some people find this premise entertaining. Watch it on Thursdays on NBC.
If you prefer your teens only in nineties sitcoms, check out the original “Saved By the Bell” on dvd.

Hulu now streaming Colbert Report and Daily Show
Hulu acquired the rights this week to stream full episodes of “The Colbert Report” and “The Daily Show”.
The Colbert Report on the Obama fist bump:
Hulu just gets better and better. Now if they could stream content worldwide and add BBCAmerica shows to their roster, I’ll be theirs forever.

Recycle your Analog TV
The digital switch-over is coming up in 2009, so I’m in the market for a new hd television. If I’m such a tv lover, I guess it’s only right that I start catching up to current technology. Guess the Panasonic TV/VCR combo will have to go in the dumpster…
Or better yet why not recycle? If you live in California, it’s pretty simple to drop off your e-waste. Find a list of centers here.
Thanks Ideal Bite for the green tip.

Forgotten TV
This blog is going to be about obscure tv shows from all eras. My tv knowledge spans from the fifties (though that is a bit hazy) to today. I’m pretty good on remember sitcoms, cop dramas, sci-fi shows, and eighties soaps like “Falcon Crest” and “Knots Landing”. I hope to discover other shows that I may have missed or were shown in other countries.
To give you an idea of my varied tastes, here’s a short list of shows I hold dear:
“Silk Stalkings”, “Farscape”, “Footballer’s Wives” (UK), “Forever Knight”, “The Jeffersons”, “Mr. Ed”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, “Silent Witness” (UK), and “Cowboy Bebop”.
